Katie Peters

Senior Physiotherapist

Katie qualified with a First BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree in 1995 and gained a wide range of experience in several major teaching hospitals in London, where she pursued further postgraduate qualifications in manipulative therapy. She has worked as a team physiotherapist for a professional rugby team, Rosslyn Park,  and as head physiotherapist for the England U16 rugby team. In both the NHS and private sector, she has treated a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal issues, across all ages, specialising in sports physiotherapy and womens’ health. Over the past decade, Katie has gravitated to treating adolescent athletes. As a certified Kids Back 2 Sport practitioner, she now also works with St Swithun’s School and Winchester College, ensuring their athletes reach their full potential and remain injury-free.

Katie has competed in a diverse array of sports from an early age, including tennis, squash, iron man triathlons and world sailing championships. Her personal engagement in sport, coupled with her expert knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, enables her to diagnose and treat the root causes of  an injury, pain or dysfunction effectively and also help in preventing subsequent issues.

In her leisure time, Katie enjoys wing foiling, biking and being in the mountains. She also loves a family action holiday with her husband, nearly grown up children and dog!
