Kim Waters
Senior Physiotherapist
Kim is a highly experienced Senior Physiotherapist with a long standing career in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports medicine.
She enjoys working with clients of all ages, supporting recovery from injury while promoting long term physical and mental wellbeing.
Kim qualified as a physiotherapist in the late 1980s and completed further postgraduate training in Sport and Exercise. She has worked across the NHS, private health sector and within elite and recreational sport, as well as previously running her own successful practice for many years.
Her career has included extensive involvement in elite sport, including working with England and Great Britain Hockey and serving as the Team GBR Sailing Physiotherapist at the Athens Olympic Games. Alongside clinical practice, Kim has also lectured in sports physiotherapy.
Clinically, Kim has particular expertise in lower limb injuries, especially knee and ankle conditions, and in sports injury rehabilitation and pre and post surgical management. She is also a qualified Yoga teacher and integrates movement and body awareness principles into rehabilitation where appropriate.
Kim is known for her calm, experienced approach and for helping people understand their injury and recovery clearly, supporting confidence and long term progress.
Outside of work, Kim leads an active lifestyle and enjoys tennis, padel, swimming, cycling, skiing and kayaking. She also enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors and in nature.
